Commission Terms of Service

Effective 2026-07-10 · These terms govern every commission reserved through this site.

1The service

AUREUM ("the atelier", "we") produces cinematic real-estate films and related media — story briefs, films, vertical cuts, still sets and performance reports — for clients ("you") on the North Shore and Greater Vancouver, British Columbia. Each engagement ("commission") covers the package selected at checkout for one listing or, for agent films, one agent brand.

3Pricing & taxes

Package prices are published on this site in Canadian dollars and are subject to GST (5%), GST No. 793939232RT0001. The price in effect at the time you reserve applies to your commission. Custom scopes are quoted in writing.

7Your responsibilities

8Aerial work

Drone operations follow Transport Canada RPAS rules and site restrictions. If aerials cannot be flown legally or safely at the property, we substitute equivalent elevated/ground coverage or adjust the package price proportionately — whichever you prefer.

9Deliverables & revisions

10Licence & portfolio

11Performance reports

14-day reports compile metrics from the platforms where the film is published and depend on the access or links you provide. Reports are informational: we do not guarantee inquiries, showings, days-on-market outcomes or sale results.

12Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the atelier's total liability for any claim arising from a commission is limited to the fees paid for that commission. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under British Columbia law.

13Changes & contact

We may update these terms; the version in effect when you reserve governs that commission. Material changes are posted on this page with a new effective date. These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and applicable Canadian law. Questions: atelier@aureumfilm.ca.

3Why we collect it

4Service providers & storage outside Canada

We use a small set of processors: Cloudflare (site hosting and database), Stripe (card payments) and Google (optional sign-in). These providers may store or process information on servers outside Canada, including in the United States, where it is subject to the laws of those jurisdictions. We share only what each provider needs to perform its service.

5Cookies

We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in (30 days) and your browser's local storage for interface preferences (such as language). We do not use advertising or third-party analytics cookies on this site.

6Retention

Account and commission records are kept while your account is active and as long as needed for the purposes above. Financial records (invoices, payments, credit ledger) are retained as required by Canadian tax law (generally six years). You may ask us to close your account and delete information that we are not legally required to keep.

7Your rights

Under PIPA you may request access to your personal information, ask us to correct it, or withdraw consent (which may limit the services we can provide). Write to atelier@aureumfilm.ca — we respond within the timelines PIPA sets. If you are unsatisfied, you may contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia (oipc.bc.ca).

8Security

Traffic is encrypted (HTTPS). Passwords are salted and hashed, sessions are stored as hashes, sign-in attempts are rate-limited, and administrative access is role-restricted. No system is perfectly secure, but we design so that the most sensitive data — your card number — is never ours to lose.

9Minors

This service is for real-estate professionals and is not directed to anyone under 19, the age of majority in British Columbia. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.

10Changes

Updates are posted here with a new effective date; material changes are highlighted on sign-in or by email. Continued use after the effective date means the updated policy applies.
